Today we are taking the repeat of your verbs definitions test. Remember, you get to choose which of the two will be put in the grade book. :-) Hopefully, you prepared yourself for today's quiz!
We are going over the practice test that was taken in class yesterday. You will also get a new (small) packet that covers subject/verb agreement. Remember that when things agree, they are the same. Remember that a Singular Subject requires a Singular Verb, and that a Plural Subject requires a Plural Verb. Verbs are kind of the opposite from nouns in that a singular verb ends with an S and a plural verb does not.
If you miss today, complete the attached handout for tomorrow.
