Hey there, snowbirds. Just in case you get a little bored while trapped at home again tomorrow, here is a little competition to keep you occupied... and hopefully win you some free points. Go to the Writing & Grammar section of your Junior English notebook in OneNote, then do the following:
* Glance through the following pages you created: Nouns, Verbs, Conjunctions, and Interjections.
* Obviously, your notes, should be complete, but make sure they are well organized. They should be in a logical order/placement, but also consider text size and color and font as well that might enhance the organized feel of the pages.
* Are there any examples you could come up with to add to and strengthen our definitions?
* Now see what might be added to the pages to make them more appealing, visually. Don't go overboard and don't cause a distraction from your notes, but rather make them come to life.
* When you're finished, add a comment to this post, saying "My notes look better than yours!" (Be sure to include your name.)
Mr. Tucker will pick the winners based on the organization and completeness of notes, along with the overall visual appeal of the pages. Here is what the winners get:
1st Place- One free 20 point quiz. Your choice. Just pick a quiz to get an automatic perfect score on.
2nd Place- 10 points to add wherever needed in your 3rd quarter scores. (two winners)
3rd Place- 5 points to add wherever needed in your 3rd quarter scores. (three winners)
